A little about our clothing and our ethics


Our clothing will handle the kind of wear-and-tear that our kiwi lifestyle involves. With just a few exceptions (like our iconic and ever-popular Saltwater sandals invented 85ish years ago in the USA), our shoes and clothing are typically designed in New Zealand and Australia. Clothing from Bambini is designed to fit kiwi kids, and to feel good - fabrics are free of toxic chemicals and generally pre-shrunk. We offer a range of organic options, especially for babies and toddlers, and in most cases you can put it all in the washing machine! Fair Trade, Fair Reward for Fair Labour, and Ethical Supply Chains are priorities for us, as are avoiding plastic packaging where we can, and minimising waste and emissions.

PAYING BY CREDIT CARD

Please have your credit card details ready to enter if buying from our website. Ensure you have your Card Security Code (CSC/CCV) for Visa and Mastercard transactions. 

Alternatively, you can call us during opening times to purchase by phone. Please have ready the item code, or description, delivery address, and your credit card details.


Bambini uses 3D Secure/Payment Express to securely manage and process your credit and debit card payments to global industry standards (PCI DSS), ensuring Bambini customers are protected through best practices and processes to manage their payments. A temporary $0.10 authorisation may be made to ensure that the credit card being used is valid. Once validity has been confirmed, the 10 cents charge will be reversed by your bank. You can also pay direct to our bank account. Please ensure you use your last name as a reference when making a bank deposit.


WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHEQUES - a BANK CHEQUE is acceptable.

 



Delivery details


Delivery will be within 2 days for most New Zealand destinations. We track your parcel and will email you the tracking code, so you can see the progress of your item. Our courier is unable to deliver to a PO Box.

CLICK & COLLECT
You can choose this service if you prefer to pick up your item in store. This can be helpful if you wish to check sizing, colour etc. You will receive an email to advise when your item is ready. Pick up from:

Delivery charges


Our standard delivery times range from overnight to 4 days. Allow 2-5 days for oversized items, such as bikes. For orders up to $99.00, add $6.00 for delivery. Bambini offers FREE DELIVERY to most New Zealand locations for orders over $99.00.


OVERSIZED ITEMS
Some oversized items have an additional freight charge, which is advised at the time of sale. Oversized items cannot be delivered to a PO Box or Private bag address.

OVERSEAS DELIVERY
Bambini Ltd welcomes overseas orders. Price for delivery is on application. Please email us: store@www.bambini.nz Include as full an item description as you can, with size and colour. If possible, copy the product code from www.bambini.nz. Put your full contact details, including first and last name, preferred email, the full delivery address. Add your contact telephone number and (if different) a phone number at the delivery location, including country code.

 



Fully guaranteed


If for any reason you are not satisfied with your full-priced item supplied by Bambini Ltd, please return it to us in its original condition within 14 days, with labels and tags still attached, for a replacement or credit. Sale items must be returned within three days. If an item supplied by Bambini is found to be faulty, we will provide a refund. Alternatively, if it is your preference, we will replace the item if stock is available. We are committed to meeting all our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act.

Join us!

If you are already on our loyalty database instore, you are automatically registered to accumulate points with your online purchases (when you login with your registered loyalty email address). Note that only full-price purchases gather points.

For each $500 you spend with us, you receive a $25 voucher that you can use within a year of issue.

When you have spent $1500, you become one of our VIPs! You’ll have a permanent discount loaded on our system - no need for a card, just let us know who you are, and every time you shop with us, you save!

HOW DOES IT WORK? 
Every full price purchase with us earns you points ($1=1 point). When you accumulate enough points to reach your free $25 Bambini voucher (500 points), it is valid for a six months. When you reach 1500 points, you become a Bambini VIP. Your special VIP discount is valid FOREVER - unless you unsubscribe from the programme, or your points return to zero as per our Loyalty Terms & Conditions, below.

LOYALTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Loyalty points may expire if an account is inactive for a year or more. VIP customers must have a valid email (or other acceptable contact details) in our system and use their account at least once a year to guarantee their points and status are maintained.

We make it easy to Unsubscribe, just find the Unsubscribe link at the top of our newsletter or on our website, and click to confirm. Your membership points will go back to zero.

To log in and use your in store account online for the first time, use your email address as your username and also as your password.

We value our relationship with you and will never share your personal information with businesses outside of those essential to processing your transaction and providing a high level of customer service, including for tracking your purchase. From time-to-time, we will email you for promotional purposes, such as signalling the arrival of popular brands or member-only offers. Pre-orders


Some of our brands are available on pre-order. This means you have first choice of our best selling brands. If some of your items are on pre-order, we will contact you to ask if you would like to wait and have all your items sent together when the pre-order arrives.


Note: Pre-orders are based on what we have ordered from our suppliers and at times they will be unable to deliver all items ordered. In this case, Bambini Ltd will be unable to fulfill your order. This is beyond our control and we will contact you to offer the next best option or a refund.

Pre orders can usually be seen on our website from 1-4 weeks before the stock arrives in our warehouse.

Please be aware that delays due to couriers or customs can arise. We will stay in touch with you about time-frames and will do everything we can to get your items out to you at the earliest possible opportunity.

Care instructions


Please follow the care instructions on the label of your garment, toy or other accessory. We recommend using a laundry bag for merino and other fine-fibre clothing. Wool wash and non-bio detergents are recommended for baby-clothing where a label says to machine wash - wool wash products are ideal for washing products in contact with baby’s skin, and they keep clothing, especially fine wool, looking good for longer than strong laundry detergents with whiteners etc.


 



Sizing guide - Get the best fit!


CLOTHING - HOW TO SELECT THE SIZE THAT FITS


The fit is by AGE - from Newborn to 16 years.

If you have a child of 3 - choose SIZE 3. If they are nearly 4, go for SIZE 4. For wee ones, it is better to be generous - if baby is 6 months, don’t choose 3-6 months, go to the next size up. If the child you are fitting is noticeably big or small for their age, then go one up or one down. Easy!

SHOES - HOW TO MEASURE FOR SHOES AND SANDALS
For young children, the best way to measure their feet is by tracing their foot on a piece of paper and measuring the trace from big toe to heel.

For older kids, use a measuring tape or ruler. Get them to stand on the tape or ruler and measure from the tip of their biggest toe to the end of their heel. Convert your measurement to the correct shoe size, using the chart below.

For EU sizes it is generally safe to go up half a size, when shoes are only available in whole sizes. Eg. your child measures 184mm, EU 30.5 - order EU31 where half sizes are not available.
